Default Reloading for Yotes

Would like to hear your favorite Yote recipe and you favorite calliber.
I use a 22-250 with Varget and a 52gr. Berger flat base HP.
Its very effective to 450yds.
If I go longrange, I use a 6.5x284, 140gr. Nosler custom competition under 4831SC. This load is good to 1000+yds.

Tell me what you use and like.

Default Re: Reloading for Yotes

Haven't had a chance for "Yotes" yet. However, VA "Hogs" sure don't like 36.5gr. of IMR 4064 over a Hornady 53gr.H.P. match in my .22-250. Nor do they like 27.5gr. of Hodgdon BL-C(2) over the same 53gr.H.P. match in the .223. The bestest yet is 30.0gr. of the BL-C(2) over a 32gr. Hornady VMax in the
.204. That one won't penetrate a Ground Hog. Just turns the insides to jelly.
